– This is the first case in history to arrest a member of parliament, but above all the former deputy minister of justice, said Katarzyna Kotula, Minister of Equality “Facti po factach” about the decision of the prosecutor's office in the case of Marcin Romanovsky. Andrzej Dera, the State Secretary of the President's Chancellery, also touched on this issue in “Kropka nad i”.
Former Deputy Minister of Justice in the PiS government, Marcin Romanovsky, was wanted since Thursday after the decision on his temporary arrest was issued. So far, the police has not been able to determine the whereabouts of the PiS MP.
– I am speaking in a language that may be understandable for people related to Law and Justice, as well as the PiS presidential candidate: the place of criminals is in crime, – Minister Kotul from the New Left explained in this incident.

Romanovsky wanted
Katarzyna Kotula, guessing where the former deputy minister is hiding, said that “maybe it's not the presidential palace, because there is no other place.”
– You have to decide whether you are a former politician, a former deputy minister of justice who has honor (…) or a gangster, a criminal who is trying to escape from responsibility, he continued.
“He thought he was being chased”
Monica Oleinik's guest in “Kropka nad i” was Andrzej Dera from the President's office, who also explained the case of the former deputy minister. Asked if he followed the law by hiding from the police, Dera replied that “it was Mr. Romanovsky's decision” and “he will bear the consequences.”
– Apparently (…) he decided that he is being persecuted in Poland and that is why he is hiding, he said. – In my opinion, they are persecuting him, because there was no reason for his arrest, – added Dera. The president's colleague also said that in his opinion, “the authorities are trying to show people that the opposition is in prison.”
