Cho plays a former member of Seoul's cheerleading squad who moves to the village, while Lee plays the goalkeeper for the school's soccer team, which is always losing.
Victory will be released in theaters in North America and Vietnam on August 16, followed by Indonesia, Taiwan, Cambodia and Thailand in late August and September.

Finecut is also involved with Hong Sang-soo’s “By The Stream,” which premieres in competition at the Locarno Film Festival and in the Centrepiece section at the Toronto International Film Festival on August 16th.
Finecut's slate also includes horror thriller “Noise,” about a woman with hearing aids who is plagued by mysterious sounds that attract a malevolent presence linked to her sister's disappearance. The film will have a market screening at Toronto Industry Select and a world premiere at the Sitges Film Festival.
