On Thursday, Attorney General Adam Bodnar submitted three requests to the Sejm to waive the immunity of MPs Krzysztof Szczukki and Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski and MP Daniel Obaitek. The spokeswoman of the General Prosecutor's Office, Anna Adamyak, explained at the conference that the collected evidence shows that Shchuki, when he was the head of the Government Legislative Center, made changes to the organizational structure of this institution and created a department where he worked. people out of competition.
These people, as she said, did not work for RCL, although they were paid for their work. – But during the election campaign, they helped the deputy, organized meetings, and carried out propaganda work – he added.
Szczucki on waiving his immunity: I'm willing to
Szczucki referred to the case in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24. In the program, he was asked if he would appear before the prosecutor's office if summoned by the prosecutor.
– A few months ago, through my representative, I sent a letter to the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office, saying that I can come and answer questions at any time. And it also happens that the prosecutor – I think it may be in the new year, he expects me to do this.
When asked if he would waive his immunity, he said he was “willing to”. – But I don't want to show it yet because I need to read the documents. I want to know exactly what the prosecutor wants to accuse me of and what the request to waive my immunity consists of, Shucky said.
– I read the message on the website, but I think the program will be more extensive. After the review, I will inform you of the final decision. But yes, I am interested in this decision, he said.
