New Orleans was a tough defensive team last season, finishing fourth in the league in EPA allowed per play and fourth in turnovers forced (29). The Panthers finished last season with the NFL's worst record (2-15) and a league-worst record against the spread (4-11-2). Because they struggled defensively in 2023 and let go of top pass rusher Brian Barnes in the offseason, the model projects New Orleans to win in nearly 80% of simulations.
