– From the point of view of PR, this decision is very bad for Law and Justice – said Alexandra Leo (Poland 2050) in “Kropka nad i”, referring to the granting of international protection by Hungary to the punished PiS MP Marcin Romanovski. He explained that Viktor Orbán is the man who “implements Putin's line in the European Union”. Marcin Horala (PiS) claimed that the former deputy justice minister “has lost all hope that he can rely on a fair trial in Poland”.
MPs Marcin Horala (PiS) and Alexandra Leo (Polska 2050) spoke on TVN24's “Kropka nad i” about the case of Marcin Romanovsky, who, according to his lawyer, received “international protection” in Hungary.
In Leo's opinion, the fact that Romanovsky went to Hungary “is not surprising at all.” – However, Prime Minister Orbán's decision is very surprising and contradictory. We remind you that this is the man who spoke with Putin on the phone a few days ago, he is implementing Putin's line in the European Union, leaving himself and Hungary on the outskirts of the European Union, he mentioned.
He also assessed that “from the point of view of PR for law and justice” this decision is “very bad”.

Horala about Romanovsky: he lost hope that he could count on a fair trial
However, Khorala assessed that the decision to grant protection was “in the sense that it was necessary”. – I would very much like Minister Romanovsky to prove his innocence before the objective, non-political prosecutor's office of Poland or before the objective Polish court. Unfortunately, these conditions were clearly not fulfilled, he said.

The representative of the PiS said that “instead of clarifying this case, gathering evidence and going to court with an indictment – apparently, the facts are surprising – only focused on the arrest of the deputy by law, by fraud, violation of immunity, Minister. Romanovsky”.
According to him, the former deputy minister of justice “has lost all hope that he can rely on a fair court in Poland.”
Asked if he thinks that Romanovsky did the right thing by going to Hungary, Khorala answered that “it was Minister Romanovsky's decision.” – I only understand that he could be 100% sure that he will not be given a fair trial and fair treatment by the prosecutor in Poland, – he noted.
Kwiatkowski: Romanowski fools everyone
The former Prosecutor General and former Minister of Justice and now the senator of KO Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, who was the guest of the next episode of “Kropka nad i”, said that Romanovsky “makes a fool of everyone”.
– The provisions of the asylum law state that asylum can be granted to a person who fears persecution in his country of origin due to his race, religion, nationality, belonging to a specific social group or political opinion. It is not written here that a person who is responsible for embezzling more than one hundred million zlotys from the justice fund will be granted asylum, he emphasized.
– I was a little nervous, because it will soon become clear that we have only insulted people in this country, – he added.
He also noted that “the entire European Union is based on a certain trust in the judicial authorities that operate in individual countries.” He emphasized that “after all, the EAW is the decision of the Polish court, not the Polish government.”
