The minister's party colleague and Seim deputy Monika Wieliczowska called the PiS deputy leader's comments a “scandal” and said they “reek of betrayal”. “Błaszczak wants to change the government of the Republic of Poland after elections in other countries,” she wrote.
“Mr. Błaszczak acknowledged that it is up to Americans to decide who governs Poland. Thank you for your honesty.”
PO Łukasz Kohut recalled that the United Right government did not resign even after Joe Biden's victory. “I remember that neither the PiS government nor President Duda even gave them their blessing, believing Trump's fairy tale about election fraud,” he added.
In response, PSL's Daria Brzezicka responded that if Trump wins, “Polish rebels should immediately move to the United States.”
“That's great. Błaszczak acknowledged that Americans will rule Poland. I appreciate the honesty.” These were the words of Andrzej Zapałowski, a Confederate congressman.
