JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Mayo Clinic has been ranked the No. 1 hospital in Florida on U.S. News & World Report's “Best Hospitals” list.
The clinic has been ranked number one for eight of the last nine years and is nationally ranked in 10 specialties.
The list analyzes data from 5,000 medical centers to determine the rankings.
“We are honored to once again be ranked among the top hospitals in Florida by U.S. News & World Report,” said Mayo Clinic Florida CEO Kent Theelen, M.D. “Our talented team is committed to continuing to push the boundaries of medicine while providing the highest quality care to every patient.”
U.S. News & World Report evaluates factors such as patient experience, patient survival rates, discharge outcomes, nurse staffing, advanced technology, patient service and reputation among other medical professionals.
