Michał Kołodzejczak was a guest on RMF FM on Tuesday afternoon. The Deputy Minister of Agriculture said directly that the Ministry of Agriculture is not working well and that Mr. Czesław Siekiełski (Polski Stronikt Rudbe) is not the best minister.
“In my opinion, there is overemployment, duplication of work and poor work organization,” said the former Agronia leader. Asked who was responsible for the situation, he said only that he was continuing to report his comments to the ministry, which had been instructed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk to “support” him.
Czesław Siekielski responded to the agency's complaint on his behalf. “The minister should first apologize to the ministry's staff,” said the PSL politician. According to the People's Party, the vice minister was “still young” and “thought everything in politics would be quick and easy, but the reality was completely different. That's why he was swayed by emotion.”
Michał Kołožejczak criticizes the Ministry of Agriculture. “Nodding is useless.”
Michał Kołodzejczak commented on his words in an interview with Polsat News. -I'm not saying there's anything bad going on there. He said he hoped something better would happen. – I have been entrusted by Prime Minister Donald Tusk with assistance to the Ministry. And nodding along is useless, pointed out the deputy director general of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
A former Agrounia leader stressed that the ministry should cut jobs in exchange for better wages. He acknowledged that it was not an easy decision, but believed the process needed to be simplified. “Just like the president of Argentina did,” he added, referring to the ultra-liberal Javier Millea.
-I think Prime Minister Tusk thinks the same way. For me, the Ministry needs a Polish agricultural strategy that looks 20 years into the future. As a farmer, I would like to know what the future holds for Polish agriculture, said Michał Kołodzejczak.
Michał Kołodrzejczak rates Czesław Siekielski. “Smart and honest”
Later in his statement, he said that in Poland “the demands on farmers continue to be exaggerated,” as if “the farmers are doing something wrong.”
– I am very dissatisfied with the work of the Ministry. I express my reservations to the Minister. I would like to work with him. We know that some things take time – said the Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Michał Kołodrzejczak, referring to his immediate superior, replied that Czesław Siekielski was a “smart and honest politician.” – He is also a very balanced person. I learned a lot from him, stressed the former leader of the disaffected peasant movement.
