Ozark Community Health in Missouri recently announced that it received a “no findings” rating following a site visit by the Health Resources and Services Administration in June.
“We are extremely proud of our staff for this outstanding achievement,” said Randall Gunn, chief financial officer at Ozark Community Health in Missouri. “The lack of issues during the site visit demonstrates the dedication of our organization and staff to providing quality care to our patients.” HRSA site visits are conducted at federally qualified health centers every three years.
HRSA site visits ensure that federally qualified health centers are in compliance with the Health Center Program and following all regulations. HRSA staff evaluate federally qualified health centers' quality of care, clinic accessibility, and financial management.
“As a physician, it's extremely encouraging to work for an organization that not only provides excellent medical care but has also cultivated a culture of honesty, integrity and a commitment to improvement,” said Dr. Joshua Wolf, medical director at Ozark Community Health in Missouri. “This site visit required intensive prep work from many people, but it was just an extension of what our management and employees do every day.”
Missouri Ozark Regional Medical Center, a federally qualified health center, receives grant funding from HRSA to provide health care services to medically underserved areas of Douglas, Ozark, Texas and Wright counties.
“MOCH has always taken its federal grant responsibilities very seriously and this site visit is testament to that,” Gunn said. “We will continue to use the grant money to expand the services we provide to the community.”
