A 52-year-old woman from the Luzonia commune died on Friday. Investigators found stab wounds on her body.

The investigation into the woman's death is being carried out by the Wieln district prosecutor's office.

Preliminary findings indicate the 60-year-old man attempted to flee the scene. At approximately 3:40 p.m., a Toyota vehicle that was overtaking on Route 74 in Mierzynow collided with an oncoming vehicle.
Numerous emergency personnel were called to the scene and resuscitation efforts were carried out, but the man died. The other driver was uninjured.
Local media reported that the 60-year-old man was driving at excessive speed.
Investigators are also looking into the circumstances of the man's accident.
