A resident of Pokrzyvnica commune (Masovia voivodeship) reported to the police station of Pultusk region and said that someone entered his basement and stole canned goods. The employees of this agency arrested a 57-year-old man and recovered some of the loot. He faces up to 10 years in prison for robbery.
Last Sunday, an unknown criminal entered the basement of one of the buildings after tampering with the lock. Canned food was stored in containers in the basement. His loot included six bottles of raspberry juice and 16 cans of various canned goods.

– After receiving information about the theft, the officers of the Criminal Division went to the scene of the incident. They also identified a person who could have entered the basement and stolen the cans. Police officers arrested a 57-year-old man and found some canned goods. The man had already consumed some. The owner of the jars had tags, so they were easy to identify, said Petty Officer Magdalena Belinska of the Pultusk Police Department.
A 57-year-old food lover was arrested and taken to the police station. He faces up to 10 years in prison for robbery.
