GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY) has a new feature that shares the most frequently registered keywords for new domain names.
The company already publishes the most common keywords in aftermarket domains, but this data is always delayed by several months.
The new data is very current. The data is updated every few days.
To see the top keywords for new registrations, click Insights in the top right corner of the Domain Control Center.
Due to the short time frame for updates, a wide variety of keywords are displayed here. The image above is from last week, but yesterday the top keywords were USA, Creative, and Texas. Today we see Wealth, Golf, and USA.
I think buying in bulk will help boost the number of registrations a little.
It's worth clicking on the links every now and then to see if there are any new trends worth investigating. Also, take note of keywords that appear frequently in the lists.
