The Turkish government has assigned new names to several of its diplomatic missions, including embassies in European and African countries, diplomatic sources said on Wednesday.
On the directives of Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Zeynep Kıziltan was appointed as Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and Esen Altüg was appointed as Permanent Representative to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Prime Minister Fidan appointed Ilhan Saygil as ambassador to Serbia, Şebnem Inces as ambassador to Switzerland, Haylie Kumasiol as ambassador to Slovenia, and Gürsel Donmez as ambassador to Austria.
Additionally, Murat Rutem was appointed ambassador to Lebanon, Esra Kankolur was appointed ambassador to New Zealand, and Oghcan Ertugrul was appointed ambassador to Japan.
Other appointments include Irfan Nejiroul as Ambassador to Pakistan, Ayse Hilal Sayan Koitak as Ambassador to Bahrain, Bekir Gezer as Ambassador to Tanzania, Ferhat Alkan as Ambassador to Mozambique, Ayse Serkan Chanri as Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, Oya Yazar as Ambassador to Laos, Volkan Oskiper as Ambassador to Cameroon, Yousuf Burak Lende as Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Metin Ergin as Ambassador to South Sudan and Hussein Barbaros Dicle as Ambassador to Zambia.
