How to bet on Week 3 of the NFL preseason
Panthers vs. Bills betting predictions (Saturday, 1 p.m. ET)

We did a good job of stifling Carolina's offense, and the Panthers as a whole, throughout the preseason as head coach Dave Canales benched key players against the Patriots and Jets, but he said this week that the offense has picked up some steam and that Young and the Carolina starters will be in action against Buffalo.
Meanwhile, the Bills have already dealt with several injuries this preseason, so the majority of this game will feature players competing for backup roles.
The fact that the Panthers are a 4.5-point favorite on the road after going 2-15 last year should say something, and the fact that Las Vegas has the game listed like this is a big sign that Carolina may be favored in this one.

In most cases, teams that come into training camp with a QB battle are claiming victory.
Gardner Minshew will be the Week 1 starter in Las Vegas. Rookie Bo Nix has earned his spot for the Broncos after strong performances in the first two preseason games. In Minnesota, Sam Darnold has been named the Vikings' top quarterback after rookie J.J. McCarthy suffered a season-ending knee injury earlier this month.
But in Pittsburgh, coach Mike Tomlin has yet to say whether Russell Wilson or Justin Fields will start in Week 1. Wilson will start Sunday, and according to ESPN's Brooke Pryor, every healthy player on Pittsburgh's roster will play.
With both Wilson and Fields looking to establish themselves as the team's eventual starting quarterbacks, Pittsburgh should perform much better against Detroit than it did early in the preseason, when the offense suffered two losses this preseason — a 20-12 loss to Houston in Week 1 and a 9-3 loss to Buffalo last week.
Dan Campbell's Lions have looked like one of the best teams in the NFC this season, but they probably won't be as competitive in this matchup given they don't have as many questions between now and the regular season as Pittsburgh does.
Las Vegas agrees, with Pittsburgh favored by as many as seven points in some spots.

With Bo Nix now named the starter, could we see the Broncos' offense perform at its best again?

That's because Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson are still motivated to show the Broncos — and the rest of the league — that they're good enough to be backups, if not starters, for a team that needs a quarterback at some point this season.
With the youngest (and by most projections the worst) defense of any team in the league, don't be surprised if the Cardinals struggle to stop Stidham or Wilson (even if the latter ends up playing the majority of snaps with Denver's reserves).
