If you've been following the Notre Dame football team's recruiting efforts, you've likely noticed a trend over the past few years: The Irish are pursuing the sons of former players.
Well, it looks like that could be the case again if On3's Mike Singer is correct: On Tuesday night, he recorded a prediction that Notre Dame will land wide receiver Trent Mosley in 2026.
The California native is 5-foot-11, weighs 170 pounds and is the No. 138 prospect in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
His father, Emmett Mosley, played for the Irish national team from 1993 to 1996. His mother, Cindy, was a soccer star at the University of Notre Dame, winning the Hermann Trophy, Honda Sports Award and Honda Broderick Cup as the country's top player.
Much more than expected: I believe the Irish will end up landing 2026 4-star WR Trent Mosley, son of former ND RB/WR Emmett Mosley IV and women's soccer star Cindy Mosley.

The pedigree is strong, but the pipeline isn't necessarily set in stone: Trent's older brother, Emmett, signed with Stanford during the 2024 cycle, and his younger brother, Mosley, is expected to follow in his parents' footsteps and become a star in South Bend.
