“We are proud to apply our cutting-edge technology to improve service delivery,” said Mark Fialkowski, president of North American Infrastructure at Parsons.
“As a leader in digital transformation, our capabilities enhance and streamline program management delivery models to deliver best-in-class transportation technology services and solutions.”
The work will include preventive and reactive maintenance of all project elements as well as spare parts inventory management. “Maintenance of road technology systems and devices will ensure they are in peak performance and in good repair and help effectively monitor and manage road traffic accidents,” the company said. These devices include traffic signals, ITS devices and network infrastructure.
Parsons will use the state's existing maintenance management system to manage day-to-day program work and will explore applications of digital twins and AI to help improve schedules and service reliability.
Parsons has decades of experience designing, delivering and protecting infrastructure, including over 10,000 miles of roads, 4,500 bridges and the implementation of more than 50 advanced traffic management systems.
