Russian leader Vladimir Putin during peace conversation is not going to compromise Ukraine’s territory, peace mission or position — Bloomberg cited a representative from Western security services on Tuesday.
Putin deliberately made the biggest demand before speaking about the end of the war, and is aware that it is likely not acceptable to Ukrainians and other European countries, sources said. According to them, the Russian leader is ready to continue the fight if he does not achieve his goal.

Russia has long demanded that Ukraine be a neutral state, and the international community has recognized Russia’s claims against the annexed Ukrainian territory. Moscow is also opposed to Ukraine’s European peace forces.
Putin’s plan contradicts Trump’s words
Putin’s plan doubts whether the Kremlin is serious about negotiating a realistic, long-term peace with Ukraine – Bloomberg writes. The Russian leader’s intentions also go against the statement from US President Donald Trump, who expressed his belief that President Putin wanted peace.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Piekov said the Russian position described by the Western representative of security services was “not true.” He said measures should be taken to ensure Ukraine can begin negotiations. He also assured Moscow was ready for peace.
