In an interview with the truth about the European portal, Pavel said security assurances will be recognized by the “decisive coalition” countries. When asked if he views the Czech Republic as part of such a coalition, the president replied, “We are already part of this coalition.”
– And I believe that as soon as there is an understanding that there is a common will to distribute power, the Czech Republic will become part of this coalition – Pavel emphasized. The president commented on the skepticism of the Czech Republic in the face of the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, saying, “Different politicians may have different views.”
-But if there is a strong group of European countries ready to offer such security assurances to Ukraine, I am deeply convinced that the Czech Republic should be one of them. I understand that it sounds like banality, but I honestly believe we are doing it primarily for ourselves – Pavel pointed out.

According to the Czech president, Ukraine’s security assurances can consist of two components: a mineral resource agreement from the United States and a stabilization of military forces from European countries.
