Looking for a better tomorrow, they decide to make the long and dangerous journey to the United States. Desperate, they pay smugglers thousands of dollars to get to their destination. The smuggling route, called the donkey route, is often the end of their dreams of a better future. Most of them lose their lives or fall into the hands of border guards.
