Corporate International Travel & Tours (CITTI) has launched a sister company, CITTI Elite, specializing in ultra-luxury travel itineraries.
Shan Dioquino David, CEO and president of both companies, said CITTI Elite offers a high level of service “designed for the affluent Filipinos who know that exclusive destinations have a lot to explore and experience.”

“We are seeing demand from discerning travellers who prioritise unique and new experiences, convenience, luxury details and seamless planning over just the destination,” David told TTG Asia.
She also noted a change in the mindset of affluent travelers, who have become the most active travelers and include the younger generation.
David is now training his daughter Daniella David, who will take over running CITTI Elite, which will focus on outbound but also include inbound in the future.
CITTI Elite represents Philippine luxury cruise lines such as Silversea, Ponant, Scenic Luxury Cruises and The Yacht of Ritz-Carlton, luxury trains such as Orient Express and Rovos Rail, and African camps such as Sanctuary Retreats and Safari Collection, which allows the travel agency to offer ultra-luxury expedition trips covering all seven continents, she said.
On luxury travel trends in the Philippines, David said the Polar, Antarctic and Arctic are all emerging destinations, with 44% of the cruise market going to these two destinations based on market share last year.
