Recognizing its position as a pioneer in pipeline leak detection technology, PipeSense has been awarded an official U.S. patent for its groundbreaking “System and Method for Improved Pipeline Leak Detection,” PipeSentry.
This certification, granted under U.S. Patent No. 12,055,464, reflects the company's commitment to improving the safety, reliability and efficiency of pipeline infrastructure.
The new patent enhances PipeSense's solutions, including its flagship advanced pipeline leak detection system, PipeGuard, and its proprietary PipeSentry technology suite, which provides pipeline operators with greater insight into asset efficiency and more accurate real-time leak detection.
PipeSense innovations improve the speed and accuracy of leak detection, reducing environmental impact and operational costs for operators in the oil and gas, water and chemical industries.
This milestone comes at an important time as PipeSense looks to expand both domestically and internationally. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office approval better positions PipeSense to offer enhanced solutions to its growing customer base.
PipeSense CEO Joe Van Vynckt praised the patent as evidence that PipeSense is pushing the boundaries, commenting: “This patent reinforces our leadership position in the field of pipeline safety and innovation and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. PipeSense was founded to redefine the standards and expectations for pipeline leak detection and monitoring.”
Our vision is to provide our clients with the most advanced and reliable solutions. With this U.S. patent recognition, we can now share just how special our technology is in the fight against leak detection.”
