Pope Francis’ condition has improved slightly – the Vatican said Wednesday evening. His problems with kidney failure also gave way. The statement did not specify the Pope’s status as critical. The Holy Father has been at the Gemeri Clinic since February 14th and has suffered from bilateral pneumonia.
“Pope Francis’ health over the past 24 hours has shown even milder improvements,” the Vatican news agency said. The Holy Father continued his oxygen therapy and he had no new attacks of shortness of breath.

The Pope replaced a mild kidney failure that he was diagnosed with Francis over the weekend.
It was also reported that the thoracic computed tomography made yesterday showed the correct evolution of lung inflammation. The Pope’s health improvements have also been confirmed by blood test results.
