“I’m still in hospital in Gemeri and I’m receiving the treatment I need. Rest is part of the treatment,” Pope Francis said in a message released Sunday. According to Vatican sources, the text may have been created a few days ago.
The message was published in place of the weekly prayer of the Lord Angelus. On Sunday, Pope Francis left his prayers for the second week in a row.
Vatican sources say the text has been written in the past few days, probably before the health declined on Saturday – AFP reports.
