High-profile creative agency GUT is expanding in Europe with the opening of its second office in Amsterdam, following on from Madrid.
The new hub will be led by global chief growth officer Carmen Rodriguez and CCO Ignacio Ferrioli, who relocated from Miami and Mexico, respectively. GUT is a spin-out from WPP and Ogilvy's David Agency, which is now majority-owned by technology consultancy Globant.
Rodriguez (left) said: “Amsterdam is a true melting pot of culture and creativity, and as GUT expands its footprint across Europe, starting with Madrid, I can't think of a more inspiring place to work. This diversity of cultures and backgrounds is part of the secret sauce that makes GUT so attractive to clients looking for local work that truly resonates with both local and global audiences.”
Ferrioli said: “GUT's expansion across Europe is a truly transformative moment for the network and I am thrilled to be part of it. I'm here to continue what I've done in the other GUT offices I've led: to inform the agency's culture and generate business the way we know it, based on bold ideas. There's no other way to do it – embodying our mission to be the most diverse, creative and impactful agency in the world.”
Founded in 2018, Gut has won numerous awards in its relatively short history, including three Grand Prix and 35 Lions at the recent Cannes Lions.
