The list of guests attending President Trump’s inauguration is not yet final. But it is already known that the celebration marking the start of his second term in the White House will be special, Reuters reported.
So far, the group of foreign dignitaries participating in the event has been limited to the diplomatic corps. Foreign leaders may also attend this time. Two people have announced their participation: Argentina’s President Javier Millei and Georgia’s President Salome Zurabishvili, who still considers herself the head of state.

Most of the guests are leaders ideologically close to President Trump. In addition to Millais, they include: Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni of Italy, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary, and President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador.

However, the invite list doesn’t just include friends. President Trump has personally invited Chinese President Xi Jinping, and although Xi will not be in Washington, the Chinese government plans to send a senior official. According to the Financial Times, it will be either Han Zheng, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, or Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
In addition to China, other important Asian countries, India and Japan, will be represented at a high level as well, with foreign ministers S. Jaishankar and Tsuyoshi Iwaya.

The New York Post reports that far more foreign dignitaries are eagerly seeking invitations for the chance to promote their interests at the events and balls that accompany the inauguration. These include, among others: President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria and leaders of small countries such as Chile, Peru and Mozambique.
The group also includes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the paper said. Asked about Zelenskiy’s invitation at a press conference in early January, President Trump said he had not invited the Ukrainian leader. However, he added that if Zelenskiy wanted to come, “we would be happy to welcome him.” Zelenskiy told podcast author Rex Fridman that he would like to go to Washington, but during wartime he would only leave with a personal invitation from President Trump.

In addition to current government officials, a number of mainly right-wing politicians who maintain good relations with the new US president are also scheduled to visit the US capital. This group includes, among others: Former Brazilian leader Jair Bolsonaro and British far-right leader Nigel Farage. Mateusz Morawiecki, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, is also expected to take office as leader of the European Conservatives and Reform Party (ECR).
Companies contributing to the founding fund include Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Hyundai, Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet and Meta. They each donated $1 million to the committee.
