The decision has been made with 99% certainty – this is what PiS club politician Krzysztof Ciesiora said about the PiS presidential candidate on TVN24's “Facti po Factach”. Dariusz Jonski, a member of the KO, for his part, mentioned in the program “three differences” between the parties and their approach in choosing a candidate.
On Friday, 25,000 members of the Civil Alliance will vote in the primary election for either Rafal Trzaszkowski or Radosław Sikorski to choose the KO candidate for the presidency. Voting ends at midnight.
That day, PiS spokesman Rafal Bochenek announced that a “citizen meeting” would be held in Krakow on Sunday at 4 p.m., during which the decision to support a “non-party candidate” for the presidency would be announced. If we were to really stick to the words of Bočenek, which is announced as “a decision to support a non-party candidate”, it shows that it does not apply to Przemysław Čarnek, Mariusz Blaszczak and Tobias Bočenski (persons who have been nominated). because only (also in the list of potential candidates) ) Karol Nawrocki is not a member of PiS.
Situations related to the selection of the presidential candidate in both parties were explained in “Facti po Factach” on TVN24 by Dariusz Jonski, MP of the Civil Alliance and Krzysztof Ciesciora, MP of the OdNova Association (PiS club).
Ionian: voter turnout and votes for each candidate are announced
Yonsky said in the program that he voted for Rafal Trzaskovsky.
– We have a contract with a company that will ensure the whole process, keep everything confidential, nothing will be revealed and give us full information about the number of people who will participate and more than 25,000 will be eligible (to vote). The number of votes, the number of votes for each candidate will be known, and of course the one who will lead the Civil Alliance to victory, I believe (in this), he said.
Ciecióra: I encouraged you to bet on Marcin Osiepa
In response to the primaries in the Civil Alliance, Ciesciora stated that there was also an “ongoing debate” in PiS and that “all the politicians in our society participated in it.” – I also had the opportunity to speak on this topic and discussed it with the leadership of “Law and Justice” together with the members of the “OdNova” Association, – he assured.
When asked which candidate he is arguing for, the deputy did not answer directly. – I have to admit that I have always aimed for a candidate who is outside the current line or maybe from the first line of the political front and a politician of the young generation, the new generation, who will guarantee that the right wing and conservatives will be represented in Poland . in the coming years – he said.
When asked if he did not believe that no one from PiS and other parties close to PiS was suitable for this function, Ciecióra denied it. “We have many good and excellent politicians,” he said. – Karol Nawrocki or Tobias Bochenski are such candidates, – he added. – I personally encouraged people to elect the former Deputy Minister of National Defense Marcin Osiepa, – he said.
Ciesiora confirmed that he knows who the PiS presidential candidate is. “However, it is not my duty to report here,” he said briefly. When asked whether a decision has been made about the PiS candidate, the deputy said: – 99% of the decision has been made and it will be announced on Sunday in Krakow.
Ciecióra: I have always targeted a candidate who is outside the political front line of TVN24
Ionian on “three main differences”
In response to the opposition politician's statement, Jonski outlined “three main differences” between the parties. – We put it in the hands of 25,000 people who have to decide which candidate is the best, so that the best one wins, because we want to win these elections. At PiS we know how it is. Jarosław Kaczynski comes and chooses someone who will be obedient for years to come. First of all, he started.
– Secondly, we have two good people (candidates), PiS has none. Thirdly, we are ready, without any charges, they have never conflicted with the law, he added.
