It has been a week since the names of the presidential candidates from two major political groups in Poland – the Civil Alliance, which nominated the President of Warsaw, the Deputy President of the Republic of Poland, Rafal Trzaszkowski, and Law and Justice, whose candidate is the president. In the “W Kuluarach” program, TVN24 journalists discussed the events of recent days. They pointed, among other things, to the slippage of President Andrzej Duda and wondered whether it was intentional or not. During his visit to Armenia, Duda said that he is “very happy that the process of forming this group of presidential candidates continues.” He mentioned Rafal Trzaszkovski, but he needed a hint about the name of the PiS candidate.

According to Agata Adamek, “the question arises whether it is Andrzej Duda's acting talent” or “Andrzej Duda really did not remember his name”. – I heard from the president's entourage – and there are similar voices from the politicians of “Law and Justice” – this name really left his mind, – she said.
– Another issue in all of this, of course, is what will happen to President Andrzej Duda's attitude to Karol Nawrocki and to the presidential campaign in general, where Andrzej Duda will place himself in this campaign, – he said.
– I receive signals from the President's House that the president did not ask him, that he was not even asked about what happened, what happened with the presidential election. He feels like a politician who, when he was nominated for the presidency, did something that seemed impossible. He had an idea for his campaign, we remember how his polls were at the beginning of this campaign when he first won. And now he wasn't even asked for his opinion, she continued.
According to him, “voices can be heard from the Presidential Palace and the President himself that (Slavomir) Mentzen is really an interesting candidate.” – I heard a voice that it may end with the fact that Andrzej Duda will not support anyone in this presidential election, – he added.

Konrad Piasecki agreed that “it can be said without a doubt that Law and Justice were neglected during the nomination process and during the search for a presidential candidate.”
– It's strange, because if any politician from the Law and Justice camp has good polls today, it's Andrzej Duda. Therefore, he will leave the political scene as the ousted president, leaving his successor full of papers. Meanwhile, he noted that “Law and Justice” did not even ask the president his opinion about Karol Navroki or any other candidate.
As the journalist said, the message coming from the environment of the president “does not sound like full support for Karol Nawrocki and his presidential ambitions today.”

“Nevertheless, the attitude of the president's office is somewhat unique,” explained Radomir Vit. He noted that “we hear in Law and Justice that it may be necessary to refer to the president.” – Only this story is not the first in the series: the president sent signals that he is dissatisfied, he was removed from the chain of decision-making and expelled, and later law and justice will try to compensate for any hint of it – he said.
In his opinion, “this time the president may not buy it, that is, it will not impress him.”
