Katarzina Chijos, Doctor of Law, announced that she intends to run for the presidency as a non-partisan candidate. The main points of its agenda will be security, development and society.
Katarzyna Chikos announced her intention to participate in the presidential elections on Saturday morning in Warsaw. – This will also be the beginning of the construction of a new movement and eventually a political party – Polish Development Platform – right-wing, meritocratic and pro-development center, – he said.
In an interview with the Polish press agency, he emphasized that his electoral program and campaign will be based on three pillars: security, development and society.
He described his views as center-right. He expressed his hope that in the future “he will create a moderate party – the Polish Development Platform, which respects values, religion, identity issues, and at the same time will focus on development and serious investment projects.”
When asked what kind of president he wants to be, Cikos said he sees the role of “open dialogue and a real effort to unite Poles.” He added that he wants to show the strategy in terms of security and foreign policy. As he noted, this is a topic that he deals with scientifically, therefore, he considers the primary duty of the president to be “protection of the state’s security”.
He participates in presidential elections regardless of political parties. He said the campaign will initially be funded through online donations. He added that the Polish Development Platform (PRP) is currently a website connecting experts with the party, which is likely to be established after the election.
Katarzyna Cichos – who is she?
Katarzyna Cichos is a Doctor of Law, specializing in international law and legal aspects of development. According to the website of the Polish Development Platform, he works at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University. He is also a member of the Board of the Euro-Atlantic Association and the Council of the International Society for the Study of Sustainable Development.
Among others, he worked at the Constitutional Court (2017) and at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Katowice (2009-2010). In 2014, he was a candidate for the mayor of Siemianowice Slaski and became a councilor of Siemianowice Slaski City Council. He worked in this position until 2017.

Presidential election 2025
Seim Marshal Shimon Holovnia announced on Wednesday that the presidential elections will be held on May 18. If a second round is necessary, it will be held on June 1. Officially, the election is scheduled for January 15, and only then will the election campaign begin.
