The leader of the Polish People's Party, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysh, proposed to choose a joint candidate of the government coalition in the presidential elections. Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote that the parties will nominate their candidates. – There is no issue and each party presents its candidate. On Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister and PSL leader Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh announced that he supports the election of a candidate of the government coalition for the position of president. As he said, “Until we elect a president who is neither right nor left, but public, there will be no security for the Polish state.” Kosniak-Kamysh emphasized that “joint action of the coalition parties” is necessary, and she will ask for this from the government coalition partners.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk explained Kosniak-Kamysh's proposal. “The general strategy of the coalition for the presidential elections on October 15 should be built on three pillars: the parties will nominate the best candidates, we will not attack our own candidates in the first round, we will all (dishonorably!) support whoever goes to the second round. “Winning while maintaining unity is our goal,” the prime minister wrote.

The conflicting proposals of the prime minister and deputy prime minister on Saturday were explained in “Fakti po Faktach” by Poland 2050 MP Rysard Petru and Dariusz Jonski, MP from the Civic Alliance.
– I believe that PSL supports Shimon Holounia. (…) I understand that this is a political whistle, but it is not valid today, because we have a very clear explanation from the Civil Platform – Petru said.
The representative of Poland 2050 said that only Donald Tusk can become the joint candidate of the coalition for the position of president, and for this he requires the election of a new prime minister. – This means a complete change of the entire government, – he said.
– There is no issue and each party presents its candidate. According to my information – and I would like – Shimon Holovnia will be a candidate, and I am sure that he will be much better than the result of the vote, – Petru added.
Petru was also asked whether Shimon Holovnia will keep the coalition agreement and resign from the chair of the Seimas in the middle of the term. Holovnia will be replaced by Wlodzimier Charzasti from the new left. – Agreements are maintained, but there are cases where the agreement can be renegotiated. In case of revision of the contract, the contract will be observed, but new situations may occur that will cause the left to accept another option. In my opinion, such a discussion makes sense only after the presidential election. We must do everything to win as a coalition. This is of decisive importance from the point of view of the activity of Poland, said the deputy from the Kholovnia party.

Left “divided has always been weaker”
The guests of “Facti po factach” also expressed their opinion about the split in Razem's party. – The left was divided once again, it was always weaker when divided. That's what (Adrian) Zandberg decided. In my opinion, there are several people around him who have been out of the October 15 coalition for a long time. (…) This is their decision. We have a very strong coalition on October 15, and these few deputies will not decide whether the coalition will survive or not, said Dariusz Jonski.
– I consider the behavior of Mr. Zandberg to be irresponsible and immature. He had a chance to urinate, but he didn't. I do not understand how one can criticize the democratic coalition. In order to realize their demands, the left must start speaking. This conversation cannot be based on principle: we want and shout, – said Rizard Petru.

“Let's not turn us into a country with a record number of days off”
Poland's 2050 MP also explained the left's proposal, which would see Christmas Eve as a day off. – This is an idea that did not agree with us. Secondly, it will damage the economy by about PLN 6 billion. I'm surprised that the left has such ideas without thinking about where the money comes from, Petru said.
– I can discuss this in exchange for one more day off work in a year. (…) Let's agree that the number of days off from work is the same – thirteen – and we can replace some days with Christmas Eve, but for God's sake let's not turn us into a country with a record number of days off. he left the job, he added.
