A big change in PZU. The president was fired in less than a year
Puls Biznesu said on Monday that Artur Olech has lost its status of President of Universal Insurance Instation. We are not yet knowing what the exact reason for such a decision is. The name of the potential successor of OLECH appears in the media. After all, this is a manager who has already managed PZU for many years.
According to the journal, the decision to reject Artur Olech was made by the PZU Director on Monday. He was the head of an insurance giant since April 2024. At present, no one has partially replaced him as the most important chair of a state company.
Radio Zet and Xyz Portal reported that the OLECH career in PZU was uncertain. Andrzej Klesyk may lead the company. He was the president from 2007 to 2015, but now, according to the media estimation -he can cover PZU’s reins again.

When KLESYK first managed an insurance company, a dispute between the State Finance and Yureko for the privatization of PZU was completed in 2009. One year later, the company participated in the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Universal insurance companies’ capital groups are the largest financial institutions in Poland, Central and East Europe. This group is led by a listed company PZU.
This group, especially PZU Sa, Link4 Tu SA, TUW PZUW, Alior Bank SA, Bank PEKAO SA. The group manages about 300 billion assets and provides services to about 22 million clients in five countries. PZU’s Ministry of Finance is about 34.2 %.
At present, PZU has not issued an official statement about the change of the board.
