This warning covers the following areas:
West Pomeranian Voivodeship (counties: Grywice, Kamienski, Kołobrzeg, Koszalin, Koszalin, Słabienski, Świnoujscie); Wehelowo).
RCB advises how to act
Experts from the Government Security Center are also preparing advice for residents in areas at risk of strong winds. If such a hazard occurs, please remember the following:
Remove all items that can be blown away by the wind from windowsills and gardens, and park cars that were previously parked under trees in a safe place, especially to ensure the safety of animals outside. Wind can damage power lines. Be careful when driving, because firstly, branches and trees can break, and secondly, if you go from a protected road into an open area, there is a risk of your car being blown away.
RCB Alert: What is it? When will it arrive?
Alert RCB is a potential threat warning system designed to protect the public from situations that may pose a direct threat to life or health. Warning messages are sent in the form of SMS by the Government Security Center (RCB) to people staying in risk areas.
RCB alerts are only sent in critical situations that directly threaten people's lives or health. These are not regular, pre-planned messages and their number varies depending on the current threat. These may be significant atmospheric phenomena, natural disasters, or other situations that require immediate response. Those who are adequately warned have a chance to avoid property damage and health hazards.
