BFR Medical Mobile Unit
Krebs submitted the following report and photos from a women's sexual health services event.
Executive Pastor Barry Smith of the First Church of Christ in Mableton and other pastors in the South Cobb area welcomed the BFR Medical Mobile Unit to the Gordon Valley Mall area on Mableton Parkway. BFR Medical provides free sexual health services to women. Inside the mobile unit, women can receive pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment, pregnancy education and support services. The BFR Medical Mobile Unit will be returning to Mableton every Thursday starting September 5th. All women can make an appointment by visiting https://bfrmedical.com/.
Cobb County International Festival
Mr. Krebs submitted the following report and photos from the Cobb County International Festival.
A big thank you to Chairman Cupid and the Cobb County Parks Department for making the Cobb County International Festival a huge success. It appears to have been our best ever attendance, as attendees enjoyed the entertainment, delicious food, meeting with representatives from other countries, shopping for unique items, and speaking with government and civic organizations in attendance. It was a very enjoyable and educational way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
