One of Hollywood's greatest actors, Robert De Niro, celebrated his 81st birthday on August 17 by jumping off a yacht. The actor's daughter, Drena De Niro, paid tribute to her father by sharing photos and videos on her Instagram account.
In the video, the Godfather actor can be seen diving deep into the water. Drena also shared a photo with other family members, including her late son, Leandro Anthony De Niro Rodriguez. “Happy 81st Birthday to my dad and #1 homie. #BobbyD We all love you forever,” she wrote on Instagram.

Robert De Niro was born on August 17, 1943, in Manhattan, New York City, to artists Virginia and Robert De Niro Sr. The actor is known for his roles in The Godfather Part II, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Cape Fear, and Raging Bull, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor. He has also been nominated four times for a Golden Globe Award and received the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003 and the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award in 2010.
The Oscar-winning actor is the father of seven children. After marrying Diahnne Abbott, he adopted daughter Drena, 52, and has a son, Rafael, 47, with Abbott. In 1995, he had twin sons, Julian and Aaron, 28, with ex-girlfriend Tookie Smith. De Niro also has son Elliot, 26, and daughter Helen Grace, 12, with ex-wife Grace Hightower. In April 2023, he welcomed a baby girl, Jia, with girlfriend Tiffany Chen.
