According to exit polls, the Social Democratic Party PSD won Romania's parliamentary elections with 26.1% of the vote. Radical right-wingers came in second with an AUR of 19.2%.
Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolak spoke in connection with the first poll results of the election. He said society has shown that it wants the current government to continue investing and move toward pro-Western policies.
