Dmitry Medvedev is threatening again. “That's possible.”
– By the way, against the background of the Kremlin's annexation of four oblasts of Ukraine in 2022, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation said that this experience will be even more necessary if a new, but very close region appears in our country. He said it might happen.
The propaganda agency TASS quoted the former Russian president as calling the regions belonging to Ukraine “Donbass” and “Novorossia.”
“It is possible,” Medvedev said at the party congress he heads.
Earlier, the Russian politician wrote that, in his opinion, Ukraine will either ally with Russia or “disappear from the world map.”
Russia annexed oblasts belonging to Ukraine
In October 2022, President Vladimir Putin signed the “Accession Law”, effectively annexing the occupied Ukrainian regions of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, and Kherson. The decision was made after pseudo-referendums held by puppet authorities in these regions in agreement with Moscow.
In the opinion of the Russian dictator, “Donbass and Novorossia have been an integral part of Russia for centuries, and now they are reunited with the Motherland.”
