North Korean soldiers change tactics in Kursk Oblast, making them easier targets for Ukraine
Ukrainian political and military scientist Kirillo Sazonav said that North Korean soldiers used by Russia against Ukraine have changed their tactics in the Kursk region. Experts say the change in strategy has made North Korean fighters “easy targets.” Bloomberg reported that the North Korean military suffered significant losses in the Kursk region, both civilian soldiers and officers.
– Previously, North Korean troops attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with one or two soldiers, but now they attack dozens at a time, that is, from 30 to 50 people. This makes them easy targets for Ukrainian defenders, Ukrainian political scientist and military scientist Kirillo Sazonav told Channel 24.
Russia is using North Korean soldiers. they fall first
Experts say the North Korean military is being used by the Russian military during the so-called war. The flesh attacks and Kim Jong-un's soldiers fall first. Meanwhile, Russia is using drones to search and attack Ukrainian military positions and sending specialized attack aircraft there. Sazonav recalled that in the past, Korean missions were carried out by prisoners of war drafted into the Russian army.

The military added that the North Korean fighters are physically well prepared. But like the Russians in 2022, they are fighting without drones or firewalls. Later, realizing that the Ukrainian army would not waste 5,000 hryvnia (about 500 zloty) worth of ammunition and mines on each occupier, the Russian army reached the defenders' positions one or two at a time. , tried to gather there.
“The most we can do is throw grenades from drones. Otherwise, snipers or machine gunners will take action,” the Ukrainian military officer explained.
Kim Jong Un's soldiers have changed tactics. Russians gave up on that a long time ago
However, over the past three or four days, there has been a change in the tactics of North Korean fighters. Instead of just a few soldiers, around 30 to 50 soldiers now take part in the attack. In addition, they “attack” Ukrainian military positions in columns.
– This is a great goal for players who have been fighting for a long time. They “unloaded everything.” Although the Russians abandoned this tactic a long time ago, they still use it, political scientists noted.
