Fires broke out in several Russian cities and airport traffic was suspended as a result of a large-scale offensive by the Ukrainian military from Monday to Wednesday night, Reuters reported. This attack involved, among other things, the latest Ukrainian missile drones and American ATACMS missiles.

According to the channel, the attack involved PD-2, Bauble, Luti, and UJ-22 drones, as well as five American ATACMS missiles. The targets were the areas surrounding the cities of Engels, Saratov, Kazan, Bryansk, and Tula in western Russia.

Independent news site Astra reported that the fire broke out at a factory in the city of Kazan, east of Moscow. Photos were posted online showing the fire and clouds of black smoke visible from a distance. According to media reports, the fire broke out near a chemical factory.
The Ukrainian website Censor reported that the attack affected an industrial company in the city of Engels, Saratov region. Russia’s TASS news agency reported in the early morning that air traffic was temporarily restricted at the airports of Kazan, Kaluga, Saratov and Tambov, as well as those of Penza and Ulyanovsk.
