The TU-22M3 aircraft crashed around Irkutsk – the Russian Ministry of Defense said Wednesday. The cause of the disaster was a technical issue. Media reports that one of the machine’s crew was killed, while three others were successful.
The Russian bomber disaster occurred in the Irkutsk region of Siberia. The machine crashed over undeveloped terrain due to technical issues – the Ministry of Defense said.

Ukrainian Portal Focus reports that details of the disaster are unknown, and this model of the Kremlin bomber is used, among other things, in the fight against Ukraine. Second, the Interfax Agency claims that one of its crew is dead. The other three were successfully catapulting.
The TU-22M3 aircraft has already been withdrawn from production. It is currently being used to carry out rocket attacks on Ukrainian territory.
