According to Piskova, details of the negotiations between Russia and the US cannot be revealed as they were “technical.” Representatives from both countries spoke for 12 hours on Monday.
The Russian throne was represented by two diplomats, particularly those subject to Western sanctions. They are Grigory Karasin, who currently manages the Foreign Committee of the Federal Council, and Sergei Beesda, an adviser to the Federal Security Director. The US delegation was led by Andrew Peak, a highly ranked representative of the National Security Council, and Michael Anton, director of the State Department’s Political Planning.

He also noted that the Russians are currently analyzing the outcomes of negotiations with the Americans.

A day after the Russian and American talks began, Ukrainian-American talks began, according to AFP and Bloomberg agents. Representatives from both countries are also holding discussions in Riyadh. They began on Tuesday morning.
