Marija Zakharova announces her reaction to the actions of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Consulate General in Poznań
Mariya Zakharova announced the impact on Poland of the closure of the Russian consulate in Poznań. A representative of the Kremlin Foreign Ministry said the response would be made public. She described the Polish actions as “hostile”.
– Russia will definitely react to this hostile measure. “Our answers will be made public,” Mariya Zakharova said in response to a question from a journalist from a Russian government agency.

Zakharova's words came hours after a spokeswoman for the Polish Foreign Ministry announced that staff at the Russian consulate in Poznań had been ordered to leave Poland by November 30.

– A Russian diplomat has been ordered to leave the country and is considered an undesirable person on the territory of the Republic of Poland. We are trying to handle this issue in a civilized way, giving a clear signal to the Russian side that certain actions in Poland are unacceptable, Paweł Wronski was quoted as saying by PAP.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesman on 'Painful Answer'
Last week, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski announced plans to close the Russian consulate in Poznań. As he said, Russia is responsible for the acts of destruction in Poland and its allies, and these acts cannot be repeated.
