Professional salaries have increased by 10.5 per cent this year – according to the latest report by Grafton Recruitment.
According to the publication with the title “Wages for recruitment and training of specialists”, the demand for employees in personnel departments in 2024 will increase by 0.71%, and the average income will increase by 10.5%.
According to Aneta Mozyrska, manager of Grafton Recruitment, the increase in demand and salaries is due to companies investing in development and training to retain the best professionals and prepare them for future challenges. And such a problem, as he said, will be finding qualified specialists. He also noted that the ongoing digitization of HR processes and the use of AI will allow costs to be reduced.
The salary is from PLN 25,000 to PLN 40,000
Currently – as shown – HR directors in Warsaw can count on a salary of PLN 25,000. up to PLN 40,000 Total per month, while in cities like Wrocław or Tricity, the range starts from PLN 18,000. zloty As for operational positions, such as recruiters, the income in smaller cities is PLN 6,000. up to 9 thousand PLN, while in larger ones they differ from PLN 6,000. up to 13 thousand zlotys.
In general – as calculated by the authors of the publication – in the case of personnel analysts, the average salary during the year increased by 8.9 percent, and personnel and salary specialists increased by 8.2 percent. At the same time, the presented data shows, for example, that the automation of some tasks contributed to a 6.1% decrease in the income of low-skilled personnel.
“Unsurprisingly, salary growth in fields responsible for analytics, employers value skills that enable the development of information about employees and HR processes. Salary growth for compensation and benefits executives (4%) and human resources and payroll managers (5.8%) were stable, which reflects their stable position in the market,” the report reads.
The need to optimize the salary policy
The report shows that remuneration in HR departments is evolving along with the increasing importance of the position in company strategies. “The dynamic growth of salaries in the recruitment and employer branding sectors highlights how important talent attraction has become. At the same time, the problems related to regional wage disparities and declines in some sectors indicate the need to improve wage policy,” – concluded the authors did.
The Grafton Recruitment report is based on actual offers made to candidates by Grafton Recruitment clients and the remuneration of participants in the recruitment process. The analysis covered 499,791 unique ads.
