Marcin Romanovsky received political asylum from Hungary. – What should be the attitude of the Polish government? – Patrick Michalsky, the narrator of the “Tlit” program on WP, asked his guest, Deputy Minister of Education Katarzyna Lubnauer from the Civil Alliance, with such a question. – First of all, we note that if a guest runs away and asks for asylum in another country, it can be said that he clearly confesses his guilt, – said Lubnauer. – Let's also note the direction of politicians related to PiS, because people related to the Ministry of Justice are fleeing somewhere to Belarus and now to Orban, – he added. He recalled that Jarosław Kaczynski once said that he wanted Warsaw to be the second Budapest. – At the moment, I have the impression that they want to establish a government-in-exile in Budapest, that is, a second Warsaw, and go there, especially since there are further requests for the cancellation of immunity, – he added. When asked what our government's answer should be, he recalled the words of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radoslav Sikorski, that this is a “hostile act” of Hungary. – I don't think anyone doubts that this is a form of resistance on Orban's part, the question is what he wants in exchange for the European Union, – said the Deputy Minister of Education. – Do you think it will be treated like this? – asked the host of the program. – I don't think that we should make any agreement with Orban. Even PiS members seem to understand that Orbán's tendency is not the model he should be, he said. – Janusz Kowalski has no problem with it, he thanks Orbán for giving asylum to Romanowski, – noted Patrick Michalski. – I think, first of all, they will thank Romanovsky for escaping. Because what they feared most was that the boy would fall asleep. No one has any idea that if there is a criminal group out there, if we are dealing with a guy who is accused of embezzling PLN 107 million and trying to embezzle PLN 50 million, he wouldn't do it just for himself Lubnauer said. Romanovsky was not a politician of that level to have contact with Orbán. Maybe someone helped him to restore these connections, he added.
