During the meeting of the Speaker of the Seimas, Shimon Kholunia, there was an exchange of views between him and two residents in Rypin. They accused the presidential candidate that “the December 13 coalition is not concerned about Poland” and that “everything has been sold.” After a long conversation, Kholovnia asked to shake their hands, but they refused.
In Rypin, Holovnia spoke in particular about Radoslav Sikorski, who is fighting with Rafal Trzaskowski for the nomination of the KO candidate in the presidential elections. The results of Friday's primary vote should be known by Saturday afternoon.
– I was very impressed by Sikorsky's behavior in these primaries. He is a brave, courageous and competent politician of a very high standard. He impressed me with his courage, but I am not a member of the Civil Alliance, so I will not vote – said Holounia.

He also pointed to the possible candidate of PiS, the head of the Institute of National Remembrance, Karol Nawrocki.
– We don't know much about him and we don't know if he can introduce himself to all of us correctly or not. Whoever is the candidate of Jarosław Kaczynski, I will face him with pleasure. Whoever is Donald Tusk's candidate, I would be happy to face him. I really believe that Poland needs an independent candidate, regardless of the government. Stabilization of the situation in Poland. Someone who can listen to citizens in freedom, not to their leader, – Holouniya said.

Tension during the meeting with Holonia “Should we shake hands or not?”.
During the meeting, a discussion took place between Kholounia and two disgruntled residents. They accused Holovnia that “the December 13 coalition is not concerned about Poland”. – Everything was sold, big companies are going bankrupt – they said. They also returned to the spring farmers' protest, accusing the speaker of the Seimas of being passive and the police of provoking and beating farmers.

– Shall we shake hands or not? My last question – Holounia asked them. But the men refused.
– Thank you very much. I did what I could.
