Nine fire brigades are fighting the fire in the production hall and warehouse on Portova street in Slupsk. – The element is not spreading, we have no information about the injured, – says Captain Piotr Basarab of the Slupsk Fire Brigade in an interview with tvn24.pl.
The fire broke out on Monday after 18:00 – The fire engulfed a hall, the size of which was about 40 by 15 meters. There are cars and trucks inside. However, the biggest threat to the officers are the technical gas cylinders at the collection point. We don’t know the number of cylinders and exactly what the gases are, so – for safety reasons – we try to conduct the operation from a safe distance, – says the captain. Basarab.
He adds that the fire is not spreading. – 9 units of the State Fire Service, Military and Volunteer Fire Service were mobilized to the scene. Firefighters are fighting the fire that has spread inside the building – added the interlocutor of tvn24.pl.
There is no information about the injured
Firefighters do not have information on anyone who may have been injured in the fire. It is not yet known what caused this incident.
