He got his first peanut as a child. He was not happy then, he preferred skating. As it turned out, over time, collecting wooden sculptures became his passion. Even though he has 500, he knows when he is looking for another grandpa that he already has on his shelf. – Do I have a boyfriend? You know, it's like children, you love everyone – says Ms. Aldona in an interview with tvn24.pl.
Ms. Aldona lives in Slupsk (Pomeranian Voivodeship). He sent us photos of his extraordinary collection to Kontakt24. He already has 500 nuts and he does not hide that this is not the end of it.
– My passion has been going on for 30 years, it started when I was a little girl. I wanted to be a skater and get skates, but I got nuts. I remember that I was very unhappy with this gift. This nut sat there and stayed there until I finally started buying and collecting more myself. Now my collection consists of 500 grandfathers, he says.
Mrs. Aldona collects a private archive of nuts
– As soon as I touch it, I immediately know whether it is an old nut or not.
As Mrs. Aldona says, she is looking for figurines everywhere. – On holidays, on trips, at fairs, in antique shops, I can always find something. I also hear a lot from friends. I am only interested in old grandparents. Of course, I make new friends, but I prefer old friends. They have their own history and spirit. As soon as I touch it, I immediately know whether it is an old nut or a new one, he adds.
