A series of bombs that were “mistaked” by fighters fell from 40 kilometres, and were injured Thursday. The plane took part in joint operations between the US and South Korean forces. Use of acute ammunition.
The incident occurred around 10:04 local time (2:04 -ed in Poland). Eight MK-82 bombs, weighing 227 kg each, were dropped from KF-16 aircraft aircraft. These bombs are used to destroy buildings and bridges, and one bullet has a radius of almost 100 meters.
South Korea. The bomb fell into a civil facility
The bomb fell into civilian areas outside the military manipulation area. According to the BBC, not everything erupted because the bullet was intended for exercise.

The incident led to 15 people being injured and 10 people being taken to hospital. Two men were injured – one of them had a broken face and shoulder, and the other was in his neck by a bullet fragment.
Emergency services do not rule out the increase in the number of victims as more and more people are reported with a variety of symptoms. Several buildings including houses, warehouses and churches are also damaged.
Korean Peninsula. Washington and Suru in joint exercises
Authorities closed the exercise area and the location of the bombs has dropped. Residents were evacuated to remove all other unexploded bombs. The scene has police and military services to explain how the incident occurred. The Air Force issued a statement apologizing to the injured civilians.
“We apologise for the damage caused by an accident that involves an unusual discharge (bomb) and hope that the injured will recover soon,” the Air Force notified in a statement.

The exercise was conducted through the Seungjin Science and Technology Training Centre in Pocheon. They were carried out using acute ammunition and participated in units such as the F-35A, F-15K, KF-16, and FA-50. Furthermore, operations will be carried out regularly until March 20th. A total of 70 sessions in the US and South Korea is planned this year. This is a response to the escalation of Pzz Pyongyang.
