The historic bridge on the Tag River at Tallabella de La Reina in central Spain collapsed under water pressure. The Prime Minister of Pedro Sanchez has already announced the reconstruction.
The design of the bridge, known as “Rome,” brings many later changes from the Middle Ages. The first bridge was still built here in ancient times.
The bridge, which had served its residents for hundreds of years, was defeated by the shaking waters of the Tagas River on Sunday morning.
The event was commented on by the Spanish Prime Minister. The Spanish Prime Minister announced that the intersection will be rebuilt.
“I work with all the residents of Tarabaa de la Reina after destroying the city symbol.
Heavy rain in Spain. Record rainfall levels in Madrid
The current increase in the levels of the Spanish rivers is caused by heavy rain and a martinho storm that has been ongoing for weeks, which killed at least three people.
In Madrid, the Manzanares River current has increased more than a few times more, and the high levels of the Jarama River have increased recently. Roads in some areas and most universities have been closed due to flood risk.
Spanish media has written about the largest rainfall in the Spanish capital in 135 years.
