The Auchan store chain has recalled a range of dried oregano spices from circulation across the country.
The reason for this decision is the maximum permissible limit of pyrrolizidine alkaloids.

The chain of Auchan stores has announced the recall of a group of products across the country:

“Consumers who have purchased the above product set are requested not to eat it, throw it away, or return it to the store where it was purchased,” the announcement reads.
It was added that “returned products will be fully refunded”.
On its website, the chain also informed customers that “if you have any questions, we are available by email at [email protected] or by phone: 22 444 02 22 from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.: 00, we are at your disposal; Sat-Sun 8.00 – 20.00”.
