According to a report by Ukrainian intelligence, Russia may transfer some military equipment from Syria to Libya. Kiev said the three ships were expected to enter the Mediterranean port of Tartus within two days, with two more ships expected to join them soon after.
According to local media, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has determined that Russia is planning to transfer some military equipment collected in Syria to Libya.

The Russian amphibious ships Ivan Gurian and Alexander Otrakovsky and the transport force Sparta are scheduled to arrive at the Syrian port of Tartus on Sunday, according to reports.
“The Otlakovsky is carrying Colonel Yuri Davityan, chief of staff of the 121st Amphibious Ship Brigade of the Russian Fleet,” Ukraineska Pravda reported.

Three days later, the multipurpose cargo ship Sparta II and the tanker Ivan Skobelev are scheduled to join, and should now be near the Strait of Gibraltar.
“Russia plans to send equipment to Libya”
“Russia plans to use Sparta and Sparta II cargo ships to transport military equipment and weapons from Syria to Libya,” Ukrainian intelligence reported.
Tartus bases include: A fighter from the Afrika Korps under the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Meanwhile, in Russia, an armored personnel carrier, presumably taken from Syria, was unloaded at one of the airports in the Vladimir region.
