Taiwan advances to Sunday's Little League World Series finals to face the winner of the U.S. tournament semifinal between Florida and Texas.
Representing the Asia-Pacific region, Taiwan finished third in last season's tournament despite having an all-rookie roster. After 30 years of dominance, Taiwan won the LLWS for the first time since 1996.
Latin America's representative, Venezuela, advanced to the international finals after losing 1-2 to Japan in the second match of the tournament.
Florida and Texas face off on Saturday afternoon.
